Now that it's September, I guess summer is officially over (in spite of the lingering heat!). Here are pictures from one of our last swimming trips; it's our favorite swimming hole in Chico. We call it "the cliff", but I'm not sure what it's official name is. Anyway, it's along Butte creek, a beautiful creek that runs through Chico. Thankfully there is a bank on the other side for the younger kids (and me!) to get in from!

Oh, that looks like so much fun. Next year let us know and we will go with you!
Oh and about that book, I will try and remember to bring it to P.E. on monday for you to look through.
Looks like fun Melissa. I hope our boys will enjoy that sort of thing when they get older. Our outings are still a bit tame.
Sarah-that'd be fun, we should definitely plan a trip. And we will be at P.E. on Monday, as Lydia's speech therapy is starting again.
Sonia, I'm sure your boys will like that and more when they are older! And it'll be so neat that they'll have each other as built-in best friends. Aaron and Jonathan are 3 yrs apart, and they have always been close; I'm sure your boys will be even closer!
